Anythink’s Backyard Concert Series brings the community together through music. Grab the family and meet new neighbors at the one-acre park adjacent to Anythink Wright Farms, located at 5877 E. 120th Ave. in Thornton. You don’t even have to pack your picnic basket – we’ll have food and beverages available for purchase at a minimal price. Delicious beers will be available from our generous sponsor, Periodic Brewing. Food options include Basecamp Provisions, Corner of Gourmet, Smoke Stack 70 BBQ and Taste of Texas BBQ.
Not only is this a fun, free Friday night – it’s also a fundraiser for the Anythink Foundation. Funds raised through food and beverage sales help Anythink to provide special programs and projects for the community. Supporters can also donate at the show and online here.

About the bands
Union Gray is a fun, grass roots, rockin' Country band from Denver, Colorado. Playing their brand of country which mixes flavors from the red dirt of Oklahoma down to the heart of Texas and up to Nashville. They have shared the the stage as support for artists such as Cody Canada and the Departed, Craig Morgan, Dwight Yoakam and more.
Irie Still is a Colorado based band and was founded in 1995. It’s style, steeped first and foremost in the danceable beats of Reggae, incorporate elements of Hip-Hop, Soca, Dancehall, Calypso, Ska, Afro Beat and Tribal Rhythms with conscious lyrics. They are an overwhelming powerhouse onstage. Playing mostly original music, the band incorporates audience participation, soaring vocal harmony and thought provoking political consciousness into a live set that can stretch to over three hours without a break.
You’ll find soul at the heart of any band worth its salt. It’s the unspoken magic that invariably unites musicians of different styles and sensibilities. It’s the magnetic force that pulls together genres. It’s what makes music connect cerebrally, physically, and spiritually. Mama Magnolia live on “the soulful side of rock.” The Denver six-piece would be just as at home in a New York City jazz dive as they would be on forested festival grounds. Like a musical time-warp where Etta James fronted Lake Street Dive, they pepper this brew of soul and rock with boisterous horns, jazzy flavor, gospel heart, classical resonances, and even a little hip-hop swagger…
