Anythink in Motion visits neighborhoods throughout Adams County, making it possible for the district to bring library service to residents outside of the service area of our local Anythink branches. The new summer schedule kicks off Wednesday, June 5.


Cancellation guidelines

The Bookmobile may be off the road for all or part of the day when the following occurs:

  • High temperatures for the day are forecasted for 15 degrees or below
  • Inclement weather which would result in hazardous driving conditions, which would include:
    • Packed snow or ice on the road
    • Sleet or freezing drizzle
    • Blowing and drifting snow and visibility of less than 1/4 mile
    • Winter storm or tornado warning issued by National Weather Service
    • Dense fog with visibility less than 1/4 mile
    • Wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour or high wind warning
    • Heavy rains and flood warnings
  • Mechanical problems needing immediate attention

Notices will be posted on the Anythink home page as soon as any cancellation decisions are made.
