Cancellation guidelines

The Bookmobile may be off the road for all or part of the day when the following occurs:

  • High temperatures for the day are forecasted for 15 degrees or below
  • Inclement weather which would result in hazardous driving conditions, which would include:
    • Packed snow or ice on the road
    • Sleet or freezing drizzle
    • Blowing and drifting snow and visibility of less than 1/4 mile
    • Winter storm or tornado warning issued by National Weather Service
    • Dense fog with visibility less than 1/4 mile
    • Wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour or high wind warning
    • Heavy rains and flood warnings
  • Mechanical problems needing immediate attention

Notices will be posted on the Anythink home page as soon as any cancellation decisions are made.
