Opened in May 2009, Anythink Bennett is located at 7th Street and E. Lincoln Avenue in Bennett, Colorado. This energy-efficient library is designed with a Western style that reflects life on the Eastern Plains. With expanded computer labs and community areas, Anythink Bennett has an inviting space for all ages and activities.

Paracord Bracelets

Paracord, also known as parachute cord, was originally used in WWII as a parachute suspension line. More recently, paracord has become a fashion fad and can be found knotted or braided into bracelets or belts. These accessories can be easily unraveled for possible use in a survival situation. Learn special knots to make your own paracord bracelet. Space is limited; registration required.

Throughout June and July, Science Fun with STEM consists of eight different activities focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Join 4-H to explore electricity, wind power and rocketry. These hands-on programs are designed to make learning about science easy and fun for kids. Anythink Bennett Seeks Community Youth Organizations for Open House

Anythink Bennett is seeking community youth organizations to participate in an open house from 3:30-5:30 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2014. Non-profits and other organizations that serve the Bennett, Strasburg, Watkins and surrounding areas are invited to showcase their youth programs and opportunities at this one-day event for prospective youth members. Anythink Libraries Closed in Observance of Independence Day

Anythink libraries and administrative offices are closed Friday, July 4, 2014, in observance of Independence Day. All branches will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Saturday, July 5.

Nan Fisher Joins Anythink as Finance Manager

Anythink has added a new member to its Support Services team with the addition of Nan Fisher as the district’s new finance manager. 

A Colorado native, Fisher comes to Anythink with more than 20 years’ experience in both the private and government financial sectors. In addition to being a senior accountant and controller, Fisher was also a financial analyst for the Town of Superior, Colo. As finance manager for Anythink, Fisher will help lead the Finance Department in overseeing the district’s budget and helping fuel innovations.
