Paracord, also known as parachute cord, was originally used in WWII as a parachute suspension line. More recently, paracord has become a fashion fad and can be found knotted or braided into bracelets or belts. These accessories can be easily unraveled for possible use in a survival situation. Throughout June and July, Science Fun with STEM consists of eight different activities focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Join 4-H to explore electricity, wind power and rocketry. These hands-on programs are designed to make learning about science easy and fun for kids.
