Anythink Brighton to Close May 20 for Collection Maintenance

Anythink Brighton will be closed to the public on Monday, May 20, 2013, in order to relocate and shift the library’s materials and collections. During this temporary closure, Anythink Brighton customers are encouraged to visit Anythink Wright Farms, located at 5877 E. 120th Ave. in Thornton, Colo. Anythink Brighton will reopen during its regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

This December, Anythink’s Gifts from the Heart program brings community members together at local Anythink libraries to hand-make gifts for friends and loved ones. Throughout the first half of the month, this district-wide gift-giving program lets people of all ages craft unique gifts and have fun in the process.

Anythink Announces Makerspace Grand Opening

Thanks to a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act and the support and enthusiasm from the Brighton community, the grand opening of Anythink Brighton’s teen makerspace is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, from 3:30-6 pm, and coincides with the library’s annual Gifts from the Heart program.
