Anythink Wright Farms, located on 120th Avenue and Holly Street in Thornton, is the district's flagship branch and houses the district’s administrative offices. A computer lab, teen area, and 7,000-square-foot children's area are just some of the incredible features of the 45,000-square-foot library. The Studio at Anythink Wright Farms, a digital creation lab featuring state-of-the-art video, audio and design equipment and software, partners creative community members with teens to help push their creativity to new bounds. Adjacent to the building is a one-acre park made possible by the Wright Farms Metro District that includes outdoor seating, reading nooks and Explore Outdoors, a certified Nature Explore children’s outdoor classroom. Continuing its dedication to sustainability, Anythink Wright Farms is a Gold LEED certified building with many sustainable features, including use of recycled materials, daylight harvesting and ground source heating and cooling. The landscaped site also includes a community garden, maintained by local community members in partnership with Denver Urban Gardens. To reserve a plot in the Anythink Wright Farms garden, fill out and return an Anythink Grows plot form

Anythink Grows Returns for 2014 Growing Season

Anythink’s garden project, Anythink Grows, returns this spring to provide gardening opportunities to community residents at several Anythink locations. The community garden at Anythink Wright Farms has several plots available for the 2014 season. Current and prospective gardeners are invited to attend an informational gathering at Anythink Wright Farms on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 pm to learn more about the program and how to get started. 

Anythink Hosts Censorship Discussion with ACLU Representative During Banned Books Week

As part of Anythink's celebration of Banned Books Week, Sept. 22-28, 2013, Anythink Wright Farms will host an event titled "Censorship Today," encouraging attendees to analyze and discuss censorship in today's society. Led by ACLU representative, lawyer and professor Charles Nadler, this interactive discussion explores issues of censorship in education, media, employment, law and the Internet.

Anythink to Host Novel Writing Workshops

This September, Anythink will host two free writing workshops presented by Lighthouse Writers Workshop, the largest nonprofit literary center in Colorado. The workshops will be taught by renowned author William Hayword Henderson and explore the novel writing process to help participants grow their writing skills.

Community members are invited to explore the educational and thought-provoking exhibition “Fighting the Fires of Hate: America and the Nazi Book Burnings” on display Aug. 9-Sept. 28, 2013, at Anythink Wright Farms in Thornton, Colo.

Anythink Hosts National Dance Day Performance

To celebrate this year’s National Dance Day, Anythink invites community members to dance together in a group performance on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 9:30 am. The dance, specially choreographed for Anythink by dance instructor Julie Cutright of Broomfield Academy, is designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
