Opening in fall 2026, Anythink Libraries will open its first-ever Express Library in the growing Reunion community. This new location will offer a convenient, self-service way for community members to connect with library resources.

Designed with flexibility and access in mind, the Anythink Express Library will offer a new, innovative approach to library service. The fully self-service space will be open 7 days a week, allowing community members to use the library whenever it fits their schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Reunion Express Library

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Here’s what we’re doing to make sure you feel secure and supported when visiting the Express Library:

  • Access made simple and secure: Visitors will request access through Anythink. Once you have card access, you’ll use your card to enter the library. Independent card access is available for ages 18+, and children and teens are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Open, visible spaces: The library is designed with clear sightlines throughout, so you can feel confident and comfortable in the space.
  • Continuous monitoring for peace of mind: Security cameras and sensors help us keep the environment safe at all times.
  • Overnight security patrol: Professional security guards will monitor the building after hours.
  • Regular care and upkeep: Anythink staff will visit regularly to keep the space organized, clean and inviting.
  • Help is always close by: If you need assistance, you can reach our staff by phone anytime.

The new express library’s design was based on the Jefferson County Public Library’s Express Library West Arvada, the first self-service library of its kind in the United States, which opened in 2022, and has been a popular and safe addition to its community.

Anythink wants to meet people where they are—making library access seamless and integrated into everyday life. This model supports busy schedules and reduces barriers to resources and information.

Express libraries allow Anythink to open convenient and safe locations, allow access 7 days a week and expand services while being good stewards of taxpayer money.

While no traditional staff desk is planned, the library remains fully supported by Anythink’s larger system and staff, who are committed to ensuring the library is clean, the collection is well-stocked and everything runs smoothly. We will also offer hosted programs on a regular basis.
