Cancellation guidelines
The Bookmobile may be off the road for all or part of the day when the following occurs:
- Temperatures 15 degrees or below or 100 degrees or above.
- Inclement weather that could result in hazardous driving conditions, including, but not limited to —
- Packed snow or ice on the road
- Sleet or freezing drizzle
- Blowing and drifting snow and visibility of less than 1/4 mile
- Winter storm or tornado warning issued by National Weather Service
- Dense fog with visibility less than 1/4 mile
- Wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour or high wind warning
- Heavy rains and flood warnings
- Mechanical problems that require immediate attention.
