All Anythink libraries and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, for Labor Day.

The Anythink Bookmobile’s scheduled stops on Saturday, September 12, are canceled while the Bookmobile participates in Bennett Days.
 

The mud pit at the Anythink Nature Library is currently closed for maintenance. We’re working to get it ready for visitors again, but we do not yet have a reopening date. We’ll share an update as soon as the area is ready for more muddy adventures. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Anythink’s Freedom to Read Collection

Anythink’s Freedom to Read Collection on The Palace Project app gives all Coloradans free access to ebooks & audiobooks often banned in libraries.

How do I get it?

  1. Download the Palace Project app
  2. Search for the collection
    In the app, look for Anythink Libraries Freedom to Read Collection and select it.
  3. Create a library card
    • When you borrow your first book, a screen will appear with an option to create a library card.
    • Important: This card is different from your regular Anythink library card. Additionally, you will need to have your location services turned on to verify that you live in Colorado.
  4. Fill out your information
    Enter your name, email address, and a password.
  5. Verify your email
    • Check your inbox for a message from Palace Project.
    • Click the link inside to confirm your email.
    • Be sure to save your barcode number from this step.
  6. Log in to start borrowing free books
    When you find a book you’d like to read or place on hold, paste your new barcode number and password and enjoy!
