Join educators from Nature’s Educators and meet native Colorado animals and learn how they survive and adapt to their environment and how you can become engaged by learning what you can do to help these animals live in a healthy environment.  All ages welcome.

Talons and skulls and wings! Oh, my!! We’re going batty for owls at Perl Mack with the help of the Museum of Natural History at the University of Colorado Boulder. Join us for a night full of interesting owl exhibits, facts and activities! Best for elementary and tweens.

HawkQuest provides an opportunity for young explorers to study live owls up-close. Using Owl Discovery Kits, explorers are led through an imaginary mouse hunt with guided discussions, visuals, experiments, and hands-on demonstrations. Appropriate for students in grades K-5. Registration requested.

Spread some sunshine by creating wildflower seed bombs, crafting a pet rock and assembling a pocket-size nature collection to carry with you everywhere you go.  Appropriate for ages 5 through 12. Space is limited; registration required. Please visit our online calendar to register.

Connect with nature through stories, herbs, music and stones.  Native American storyteller and singer-songwriter Red Feather Woman, a member of the Ft. Peck Tribes, will lead a medicine and meditation workshop using Native American teachings and philosophy. Participants will enjoy nature stories that correlate with teachings and visualizations. All supplies will be provided.
