Join our Happy Café – a space to discuss and encourage the importance of happiness and mental well-being via the 10 Keys for Happier Living, outlined by the international organization Action for Happiness. This month’s gathering will be focused on the fifth key: Trying Out (new things). Together, discover new ways to build joy and create a more caring world. Space is limited; online registration is required.

This program will be held outside at Anythink Wright Farms with distancing measures in place. Please note that this program may be moved indoors due to inclement weather.

We will come together to do some introspective work about our challenges to feeling present, share out tips and tricks for embracing the now, and learning more about what it means to be in the moment. For this program, we've invited The Meet Cart (powered by Betterish) to help us connect, reflect, and have fun by crafting Kindness Cards. Using DIY techniques, design yourself a personalized pack of cards that will serve as reminders, prompt an action, or simply encourage you to pay-it-forward. Together, discover new ways to build joy and create a more caring world.

Once registered, please visit Anythink Wright Farms after February 10th to receive your free program kit prior to attending this event.

Many people I know have been in their careers for more than 20 years, some even retiring from the same company they started with out of college. Often they cannot understand how people today have multiple employers before they even turn 30. I was one of those people. I loved my company and what I did every day, but then things changed.

The busy holiday season is over. The family visits and day-long shopping trips have ended. The decorations are put away and the cookies and candy are almost completely consumed. Now what? For me, when the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is over and it's just me and my husband and son, I take a deep breath, look to the future, and try to find some happiness. What? Wasn't I happy when I was visiting family I haven't seen in years? Wasn't I happy when I was shopping my heart out trying to find that perfect gift for that special someone?
