Since its inception in 2009, the Anythink Foundation has supported Anythink Libraries by raising private funds for public art, collections, capital projects and special projects and programs. This important work will continue led by a new slate of Anythink Foundation board directors and a new strategic direction for the 501(c)3 inspired by the Anythink Nature Library, scheduled to open in August 2026.
Five new directors make up Anythink Foundation’s volunteer board, including Sarah Ortegon HighWalking, Dennis Humphries, Emma Mantooth, Amy Miranda and Maura O’Neal. Each of the board of directors has a deep relationship with Anythink, a passion for libraries and the communities served.
As the Anythink Foundation enters this new chapter, its focus will be to support the environmental stewardship goals of the library system through special projects, public art, and enhanced offerings for Anythink’s new nature library, scheduled to open in 2026. This work supports the library’s vision of helping people find their place in nature, inspire a new generation of environmental stewards and contribute to a healthy and happy community, no matter someone’s background, location or socioeconomic standing.
“The Anythink Foundation has been critical in supporting exceptional programs and services that create lasting memories for Adams County residents,” says Anythink Executive Director Mark Fink. “As we usher in this new era of the Anythink Foundation, we’re honored to welcome our newest board directors. This group will lead the fundraising efforts to expand Anythink’s environmental stewardship and sustainability goals, fueling the well-being of our community.”
The Anythink Foundation will once again be participating in Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The theme for this year’s campaign is “plant the seeds of future memories at Anythink’s Nature Library.”
