mySummer

Anythink introduced mySummer in 2010 as a way for people of all ages — babies, kids, teens, adults — to let curiosity be their guide during the summer months. We encourage everyone to READ books that inspire, to THINK about new topics and questions, and to DO all of the hands-on activities that help them experience the world. mySummer helps bring hands-on learning experiences to students of all ages and backgrounds.

This year's theme: Grow

This year’s theme, Grow, is all about discovering new ways to learn, play and thrive. It invites families to spend time in nature — watching, planting and exploring the world around them — while also thinking about personal growth. Whether you’re trying something new, building a skill or enjoying moments together, Grow celebrates big and small growth all summer long.

A new chapter in nature learning

Nature learning continues beyond the season — across our libraries and into the future. Through the Kinship Campaign, we’re bringing hands-on, community-centered experiences to life, starting with Colorado’s first nature-based library, the Anythink Nature Library.

Preregister for mySummer

Register for mySummer to take part in summer reading, programs and activities for all ages.

Once you’ve registered, starting May 26 you can visit your local Anythink library to pick up a mySummer folder, a packet of seeds, fillable bookmarks to track your favorite summer activities and adventure tickets to local attractions (while supplies last).

Sharing your email is optional, and a simple way to stay connected to reading ideas, upcoming programs and other ways to make the most of your summer.

*If you’re age 13 or younger, a parent/guardian can preregister for you and your family. Starting June 1, you can register yourself in person at your local Anythink library.
