What inspired the Express Library?
The new express library’s design was based on the Jefferson County Public Library’s Express Library West Arvada, the first self-service library of its kind in the United States, which opened in 2022, and has been a popular and safe addition to its community.
Why open an Express Library in Reunion?
Anythink wants to meet people where they are—making library access seamless and integrated into everyday life. This model supports busy schedules and reduces barriers to resources and information.
Express libraries allow Anythink to open convenient and safe locations, allow access 7 days a week and expand services while being good stewards of taxpayer money.
Will there be staff on-site?
While no traditional staff desk is planned, the library remains fully supported by Anythink’s larger system and staff, who are committed to ensuring the library is clean, the collection is well-stocked and everything runs smoothly. We will also offer hosted programs on a regular basis.
