Connecting to Free WiFi
Anythink’s WiFi is free and easy to use! Just follow the steps to get connected:
- Open your WiFi settings on your computer or phone
- Select Anythink WiFi
- Review the Anythink Computer and Internet Use Policy
- And then click accept!
Using Public Computers
All of Anythink’s locations have public computers and printing services available. Internet usage on the public computers is guided by the Anythink Computer and Internet Use Policy. When a customer logs off the PC, all their user information and data will be deleted.
Public computers offer:
- Internet / WiFi access (via Chrome, Firefox, and Edge)
- Windows
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Libre Office Suite
- Additional software including PDF Toolbox, Inkscape, Openshot, Blender, VLC Media Player, and Audacity
- Adobe CC Suite on our laptops
- Affinity Designer will be included (Coming Soon!)
- USB ports
- Audio jacks
- Printing capabilities
- Built-in Windows Accessibility settings
Computer Time Limits
Public computers are available on a first come, first served basis. During busy times, customers can join a waitlist for the next available computer.
Computers can be used daily for two hours. If there continues to be open computers available, customers can opt in to two 30-minute extensions.
Laptop Lending Kiosks & WiFi Hotspot
Anythink offers laptops at select locations and WiFi hotspots with your library card.
We have one laptop lending kiosk at Anythink Thornton Community Center, and those laptops are similar to our public desktops in terms of what they offer. Customers can check out a laptop for the day with their library card and use the computer anywhere in the building. Laptops do need to be returned before the library closes each day.
WiFi Hotspots are also available to take home and use for one week.
