Anythink World turns one this January! Join us from Jan. 20–24 for exciting new virtual worlds and fun challenges.
The Anythink World metaverse platform offers an inclusive digital space that combines education, creativity and social connection, and expands access to library resources for Adams County residents and beyond.
“Anythink World has allowed us to offer programs and workshops to a truly diverse demographic of users,” said Alex Thao, Anythink World Manager. “With accessibility at the forefront, the platform has allowed the community to connect with each other and new ideas in the comfort of their own homes or wherever they choose to participate.”
Since its launch, Anythink World has hosted more than 150 programs—ranging from art and music workshops to Spanish and chess clubs and more—and more than 5,400 visitors.
This innovative space offers a one-of-a-kind poetry experience, “Unwritten,” with former Adams County Poet Laureate Kerrie Joy, a virtual art gallery and regular live author talks through the Library Speakers Consortium.
Celebrate Anythink World’s first year by diving into challenges and winning prizes!
From Jan. 20–24, Anythink World will host a series of fun daily challenges designed to spark curiosity, creativity and connection.
Each day, Anythink World will release a new challenge that anyone can complete online for a chance to win a daily raffle prize. Winners will be announced the following day.
How it works:
- Check out the daily challenge, posted each morning on our website.
- Complete the task (each one takes just a few minutes).
- Submit your entry to be included in that day’s raffle.
- Tune in the next day when we reveal the next challenge on the Anythink World webpage.
What’s next: A whole new world each week
Throughout 2026, Anythink World will release a new world each week, all accessible through a convenient blue portal in the Campus lobby.
Visitors can explore each new world for one week only—and during that time, they can interact with a variety of characters, discover new challenges and activities and learn about real-world subjects that inspired the virtual world.
Upcoming worlds:
- Pirates (Jan. 19-25)
- Sustainable Forest (Jan. 26-Feb. 1)
- Olympics (Feb. 2-8)
- Deep Sea Base (Feb. 9-15)
- Planet X (Feb. 16-22)
- Honeycomb (Feb. 23-March 1)
