The Rangeview Library District, DBA as Anythink Libraries (“Anythink”), has seven library branches and one Support Services building. We are searching for custodial services for all locations starting in Jan. 2024. All locations will need cleaning on each day the location is open. The custodial service team should work flexibly with the branch manager to perform the service during morning or evening hours.

We require each location to have a “deep clean” done on a quarterly basis.  Please provide this cost for each location on the bid.
                 
NOTES ABOUT CHANGES/ADDITIONS IN SERVICE

• Expansion of hours will take place in 2024 at the smaller branches (Anythink Bennett, Anythink Commerce City, Anythink Perl Mack and Anythink York Street). This expansion will impact cleaning schedules and needs. A 60-day notice will be provided to the contractor indicating new branch hours of operation.
   
• Anythink York Street will be closing May 31, 2024 and the library location be moving to 221 Eppinger Blvd., in Thornton, Colo. The move will take a few months so there will be a gap in services. A 30-day notice will be given to the contractor for janitorial and cleaning services to begin at the new location.
   
• In 2026, a new library location will be added at 136^th Avenue and Quebec Street in Thornton. Custodial services will be required at this 33,000 square-foot facility.  A 30-day notice will be given to the contractor for janitorial and cleaning services to begin at this location.

PROPOSAL DETAILS

The contract will be for three years with optional one-year renewals (up to three years).

Required information to include in your proposal:

• Provide a detailed history of your organization:  Explain the culture, years in business and whether you contract with cleaning crew or employ them full-time with benefits.
• Provide, prior to execution of the contract, a hold harmless statement certifying the custodial contractor does not knowingly employ or contract with illegal immigrants.
• Provide proposed monthly cost, by location, based on number of cleanings per week.
• Provide a line item cost, per location, to sanitize each restroom within the facilities on a quarterly basis.
• Provide a detailed report with your proposal on specific duties your custodial crew will perform on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• State the cleaning products that will be supplied by vendor and the cleaning supplies the district will need to provide. Only green products are used at all locations.
• Indicate if laundry services are provided for microfiber cloths and kitchen towels.
• The successful contractor will be provided with facility entry badges and/or keys, keys to water closets and keys to individual appliances, including soap dispensers and paper product dispensers. The custodial contractor will be responsible for managing and caring for the keys and will be responsible for replacing them at their cost.
• Please provide five references.
