How does a toy go from idea, to design, to manufactured plaything? And how do toy artists work with media companies - like DC, Marvel, and Sanrio - to develop licensed toys that do justice to our favorite superheroes and videogame stars? Join Kidrobot’s talented artists to hear the story of how toys are made, from start to finish, and enjoy an interactive exhibit of their work. Best for all ages.

Transform a simple sheet of paper into an incredible art toy. Paper toys are an international art practice at the intersection of pop art, graphic design and illustration. Choose from paper-engineered designs by contemporary artists – monsters, robots, animals and more. Cut, fold, glue, and customize a character that pops to life in 3D, becoming a DIY sculpture for display in your home or office. Led by artist Becky Clark of WhipperSnap Studio.
