Meet Bear, our volunteer dog. Reading to a therapy dog is a great opportunity for children who are learning to read or need practice reading. Our patient dog loves to listen and never criticizes. Registration required. Please email kcompton@anythinklibraries.org to sign up for a time slot.
Are you hungry for good books and good food? This month we will be reading the play Confessions of a Gym Class Dropout by Chuck Ranberg and Patrick Daley and then make food to go along with it! Please see a staff member for a copy of the book. Appropriate for kids in grades 4-5.
Children in elementary school are invited to read to our wonderful dog volunteers. They join us on the third Saturday of each month. It’s Bingo time! We’ll play several different games and each winner gets to go home with either a children’s or young adult level book. All ages welcome.
