Back by popular demand, special guest and author extraordinaire, Patricia Toht, will take us through her process of writing children's books and the publishing process. Make sure to have a pen and paper handy - Patricia has a wealth of knowledge to share with those writing for the children's book market. Join us as we kick-off Picture Book Idea Month (also known as Storystorm) with special guest speaker, children’s book author and poet, Patricia Toht. Patricia will walk us through her journey into the children’s publishing world as well as the process of crafting a story and poetry for children. Get cozy for an evening with Colorado’s own Kate Lansing, award-winning author of Killer Chardonnay, the first in her brand new mystery series. Hear a reading from the book, learn about Kate’s creative process, then zoom out for a discussion on the art and appeal of the cozy mystery genre. Registrants will receive a free copy of the book.
