Transforming your space

Office & home

Most people think of spring as a time of change, but really any time that you are inspired is the time to respond. Here are three ways to instigate positive transformation in your workplace or home.

1. Take down those walls

The office environment has moved from private work areas to collaborative spaces. Remove the barriers and make it easier for people to share ideas.

If you open up your living area, the family can be together more and your home will feel larger and brighter.

2. Stay creative

Make a creative space in both your home and office – a place that doesn’t have to be too neat – and a place for messes and experimentation. Creativity is not lineal – and it takes time. Create a place for a wandering path.

3. Reuse

Do I really need it new? Can something else work? How is that really made? What do I throw out over and over? How about a swap with a friend?

Make it fun, make it useful – just make it out of existing stuff!
