A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.

This beginner’s class for adults will be taught in a creative, whole-brain learning method using various study guides and audio-visual materials. Classes will be led by Aracely Henton, who conducted individual instruction at Language World, Inc. in California. Also, attendance is encouraged at the corresponding study group held on March 8, 15 and 22 (see the calendar for separate listings). Space is limited, registration required.

Soft crawling pillows and toys, foam flooring, and gentle music will set the tone for you and your baby to enjoy each other and other caregivers.
