  • April 25: Microwave Cooking – Snack on a newly concocted creation and learn a simple recipe that you can try at home.

The Slam Café allows you to present poetry, short stories, photographs, artwork, film and even music. You do not need to present to come and enjoy, so come and support a friend. A new way to explore early literacy! This drop-in program is for children through 6 years old and their parents. Six different centers will be set up reflecting one of each of the early literacy skills. Centers may include books, hands-on activities, crafts or music. Participants will be gathered together two times during the hour to do a group movement or story activity. This is a new and exciting way to create the path to lifelong learning.
