Then, bring those ideas to digital life through a variety of illustration, coding and storytelling activities. This month, bring your very own action platformer to life with the basics of coding.
Do you love tea and want to try making your own blends? In this fun workshop, you will learn to make your own custom loose-leaf tea blends and tea bags.
Led by a working author in partnership with Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop, explore elements of poetry like rhyme, rhythm, meter and stanzas. Then, create poems in different forms like haikus, sonnets, sestinas and free verse throughout the month with the opportunity of a final showcase. Appropriate for kids grades 3-5. Children’s author, illustrator and songwriter Barney Saltzberg will host a special art workshop inspired by his award-winning kid’s book, Beautiful Oops! Using found objects, elementary-aged kids are invited to create their own piece of “Oops Art.” Space is limited; registration required.

Meet fellow art lovers during a session designed to accommodate artists of all levels from beginners to experts. Bring tablets, canvas or whatever media you would like to use, excluding oils. This is a great opportunity to learn something new, return to art after years away or enjoy the experience of a creative evening.
Whether you already have a résumé or have yet to create one, this program is for you. We will go over the latest résumé tips and tricks, and offer one-on-one résumé assistance.
