During breaks, participants are encouraged to journal, take a walk outside, or visit another environment using video and audio explorations.  Kids in grades 3-6 are welcome.

Molecular gastronomy is where scientific sorcery meets culinary artistry. Use innovative techniques and tools, as well as some basic chemistry to explore the magic of modernist cuisine. Participants will transform foods across states of matter as they create edible works of art that will be at home on the Starship Enterprise.

Work in teams to create a parachute for water balloons using some good – not great – and some downright awful supplies. Success is a safe landing or the biggest smash possible. Build good or bad parachutes – the floor will sort out the rest.
