Candy making may seem daunting and complicated, but think again. Many recipes are beginner friendly. We will complete several candy recipes and sample them, as well. All supplies provided. Appropriate for adults. Space is limited; registration is required.

Compound butter is simply butter with an added flavor or two mixed in. Try savory and sweet flavors to put on pastries, meat, pasta, and bread. They are sure to be a delight for holiday meals. Appropriate for adults. Space is limited; registration is required.

Anythink York Street and No Kid Hungry invites families to join us for a free, 7 week course that teaches parents and their children ages 2-12 about cooking and eating healthy as a family on a budget! Class meets once per week (Tuesdays), for 2 hours. Each week your family will make and enjoy a healthy, affordable meal together. Families will also receive a FREE bag of groceries to make the meal again at home! To graduate the class, families must attend at least 5 of the 7 classes. Graduates will receive a guide/recipe book and completion certificate.

Space is limited; registration is required. Families that can attend at least 5 of the 7 classes are encouraged to register. Registration is for all 7 weeks. Please register EACH family member, so we have an accurate count.
