We’re going on a Bug Safari and we want you to join us! Experts from the Butterfly Pavilion will be our guides as they introduce us to live invertebrates from around the globe and teach about their characteristics, where and how they live, and why they are important in our world. The Battle Royale series kicks-off this month with a DIY bug robot showdown! Each participant will make their own bug robot, then test them out in the Battle Royale Arena - a shrinking play field. Test your engineering skills, battle it out, learn new skills and make new friends! This multi-player showdown will make for nothing short of a great time!

Explore the amazing world of insects including body structure, insect life cycles, habitats, adaptations and the role insects play as pollinators and recyclers. Get up-close and personal with insects, spiders and other arthropods from around the world. Appropriate for kids in grades 1-3.

Take your hotel home to catch backyard bugs and observe the smaller members of our local ecosystem. Please note that space and supplies are limited.
