Mountain pine beetles are well known for having devoured Colorado’s forests, yet many of us know very little about these hungry little creatures. Learn about the pine beetles and craft your own design made of beetle kill pine. Space is limited; registration required.

Decorate a matchbox car and then create a racetrack out of pipes or other materials. Participants will pair together to race the cars down the track. Regardless of which cars zoom ahead, each racer can keep their decorated matchbox car as a souvenir. Grades 4-7 welcome. Space is limited; registration required.
Bonnie Phipps – a national autoharp champion and Parents' Choice award-winning musician – along with renowned guitarist Michael Delalla, share their intricate instrumentals, musical stories and hilarious songs that kids love. Event will take place at Silver Creek Elementary, 15101 Filmore Street in Thronton, Colorado.
Ready, set, cook! During Anythink Chef Wars, teams challenge each other to an epic culinary battle. Use provided foods and materials to create a delicious meal based on a secret cooking ingredient or style. All meals will be taste-tested by judges, and the winning team earns a prize.
